RATIONALE AppWare is a visual development environment for creating custom applications for Macintosh and MS-Windows platforms. Applications are built using icons which represent objects (data) and functions (operations). The icons are connected by lines which represent flow-of-control and thus determine the logic of an application. The icons represent previously compiled code and thus is distinct from other 'visual' tools such as Visual Basic or Visual C++. At present there is no dedicated newsgroup for the growing community of AppWare developers. The comp.soft-sys.app-builder.appware newsgroup would provide a forum for developers that currently number over 5,000 in the United States and with another 1,000 outside the U.S. HOW TO VOTE Send MAIL to: [email protected] Just replying should work if you are not reading this on a mailing list.
