Included in this discussion will be anything related to TBBS, such the eSoft distributed option modules (QSO, TDBS, TIMS, SYSOM, Interchange, UltraChat) or 3rd party software (PIMP, TDBS applications). The group will not assume any specific experience level, so both the experienced and novice TBBS SysOp will be welcome as well as those who may be looking into the software for evaluation. It will be a TBBS SysOp supported group with no official ties to eSoft Inc., the company that produces and distributes TBBS. RATIONALE: In the past several years, more and more computer bulletin boards have been linking to the Internet both by direct connection and/or e-mail/Usenet gateways. The Bread Board System (TBBS) software allows for both issues of connectivity quite well through the usage of terminal servers and third party packages. With so many TBBS systems joining the Internet, TBBS SysOps feel the time is right for a newsgroup for them to share techniques, ideas, and experiences. CROSSPOSTING OF RFD & CFV: In addition to news.groups, the RFD will be posted to comp.bbs.misc, alt.bbs, and the Pimp (Personal Internet Mail Processor) mailing list ([email protected]). The individual votes are different enough that it appears to be a last minute campaign rather than one person using different account names.
