Discussion topics include :- * Installation/Configuration * Problem solving/Trouble shooting * Bridges and Routers * 3rd party suppliers (ie. Not IBM)  RATIONALE Token-Ring has finally achieved wide acceptance as a readily available, stable network platform. The availability of 3rd party adapters, using IBM's Tropic chipset, at a relativly low price level, has meant that more and more sites are now choosing Token-Ring. This is seen by the amount of Token-Ring specific information now appearing in c.d.l.misc This RFD has been cross-posted to various groups :-    comp.dcom.lans.misc   This is where the bulk of Token-Ring information lies.   comp.protocols.ibm    As they `invented' it.
