Most people have grown tired of typing "rn", only to see 50 + messages in s.c.yu, knowing that most of them about the latest fighting on the territories of former Yugoslavia.   That is why I propose this newsgroup, in the hope that people who care about the well-being of Croatia and its citizens can discuss the many critical problems that are facing that new country: the still-unresolved issue of  "Krajina" and occupied territories; the return of all citizens to their rightful homes before the war; guaranteeing the safety and rights of these people when they return, and of all other people; rebuilding the war-ravaged areas (which is more than 1/3 of Croatia); dissipating the "war-siege  mentality"; healing the fresh physical and psychological wounds that have accumulated in the past year and a half...etc. etc.  And of course, it would be nice to actually discuss _culture_ on a soc.culture newsgroup as well.  /Joe Blazic [email protected]  P.S.
